Progression Pathways

There are many opportunities to progress, achieve and take that next step on a career pathway through following a Sporting Futures Training Apprenticeship. A few examples are given below:

 Level 2 Community Activator – Coach – This Apprenticeship builds upon the foundation skills and delivers and supports projects within a school/community setting such as daily mile, change for life clubs, supporting nuture grps of a lunchtime

The Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship –  with a PE Focus This Apprenticeship builds upon the foundation skills and supports and develops the individual within a school setting giving greater classroom experience and a focus on the curriculum area of PE.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Classroom Apprenticeship – Great to upskill existing staff – working with the school to train and develop Teaching Assistant Team with focused, bespoke delivery.

Level 4 Sports Coach Apprenticeship in a school setting/community setting – This could be a progressive pathway following on from a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a PE Focus.

EXIT PATHWAYS include: Teaching Assistants within schools with PE Focus, Classroom Teaching Assistants, Coaching in school or community setting, Higher Education , Teaching, sports and leisure employment , forces – Taking many transferable skills into a new work setting.
