2018 Herts Sports Partnership Apprentices of the Year

Every year Sporting Futures Training is proud to recognise its long term partnership with Herts Sports Partnership. Each year we have an award for a Male and Female Apprentice of the year to show that the programme which was set up in August 2011, has really impacted upon schools, young people and the Apprentices themselves, for whom many proceed to volunteer in their local communities. The winning Apprentices this year  were:  Max Smith (St Ipployts School) and Courtney Allen ( Fairfield School ) awarded Herts Sports Partnership Male and Female Apprentices of the year 2018. Both individuals epitomise the impact that a PE Apprentice can have within a school.  Max:  He is deeply committed to ensuring that all children experience success in sports and PE, and as a result he is instrumental in improving pupils’ mental and emotional wellbeing.  Rachel Peddie HT St Ipployts Courtney: 'She was determined to develop her leadership skills and it was so rewarding to see her grow and develop as a leader throughout her time at the two schools she worked in'.
