About US Sporting Futures Training UK Ltd /CIC established 2011, is a company that has developed through nationally recognised good practice involving the development of the Home-Grown Coaching work force within the Stevenage School Sports Partnership. On the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers since March 2017, we are an Award winning provider who consistently exceeds the Annual National Apprenticeship Achievement rates, with a 92% achievement rate 2016-2017. The Directors Jill Eaton and Jo Pountney have both been involved in developing personalised learning pathways and delivering sporting accreditations for young people 16-24 yrs and  with the reforms we are excited to be able to offer new opportunities for  more  experienced individuals electing to change career pathways through Apprenticeships. We have a team of specialist experienced Physical Education Teachers , A1,TAQA Assessors and IQA’s who support and mentor our youngsters on our Apprenticeship programs . Our Directors Co-Chair the Special Interest Group for Education and Schools for The Association of Employers and Learning Providers ( AELP) and also have been involved in the development of the Teaching Assistant and Teaching Apprenticeship Standard Trailblazer groups. The flexibility and experience of our team coupled with our network of PE professionals allows us to deliver High Quality sporting programs for young people. Sporting Futures Training has Direct Claims status for the delivery of Active IQ, Cache, NCFE,1st4Sport, Ascentis, and Sports Leaders UK qualifications.

APPRENTICESHIPS
We currently offer Intermediate Level 2 Activity Leadership Apprenticeships and Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning/Diploma In Supporting PE and School Sport Apprenticeships that have a focus on Physical Education an School Sport.     Exciting delivery for September 2018 will be the introduction of the Level 2 Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship Standard and also the Level 3 Event Assistant Apprenticeship Standard.   As soon as the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard is 'LIVE', we will be delivering this with our Learners. Watch this space for an exciting announcement !   We are a successful Lead Provider and work with in partnership with  KEITS TRAINING who support us with our Non-Levy Contracts.
Job Center Support for the young unemployed
Sporting Futures offers programs of support for the young unemployed to support them with their bid to gain employment. Our programs involve team building activities, gaining of qualifications related to sport, working with young people , supporting with the delivery of competitions and an insight into the local network of sports delivery throughout Hertfordshire.
